Hi there, we are Lyn and Anton Roux, South Africans sailing around the Mediterranean while being semi-retired. With our daughters now out of school, we have the freedom and time to explore the world on our mobile sea-caravan.

Meet Your Crew
Lyn Roux - The Skipper
I am the heart and soul of our adventures, serving as the skipper of Cari. My passion for sailing and keen navigational skills keep us on course. As a full-time mom, I am the glue that holds our family together, making sure everything runs smoothly both on and off the boat.
Anton Roux - Deckhand & Banker
I am semi-retired from my corporate executive roles. With my background and skills ensure that any technical issues are swiftly addressed, allowing us to sail worry-free. Having started sailing Hobies in my teenage years, Cari has been a lifelong goal that I have been working towards.

Cari is our beloved Hanse 548 cruising yacht, a true gem for sailing enthusiasts. Here are some of her impressive specifications:

Between 2005 and 2015 worked in Africa, Israel, UK, Europe and the USA.My record was that in 2009 I did 48 long haul return flights out of SA. I also through this process amassed more than 1 000 000 airmiles on multiple airlines. Some weekends I was just too tired
